Lindstrøm & Christabelle 12" record of the week at Piccadilly

The limited edition Lindstrøm & Christabelle "Lovesick" 12" with Four Tet remix is record of the week at the great Piccadilly Records. Note that the 12" is  sold out from us, so the only way to get this 12" is by buying it in the shops that stocks it now. It is a limited edition of 500 so they will be gone fast.

This is what Piccadilly says about the 12": Lindstrom & Christabelle “Lovesick” was probably my favourite track from the pair's awesome album “Real Life Is No Cool” (which probably would have been my album of 2009 if it hadn't come out after we'd compiled our charts!). Anyway, the track finally comes out on a nice loud-cut 12", complete with instrumental. It's a satisfying sleazy chugger with hints of funk and rock in the mix. A perfect three minute gem. Taking those three minutes to town is man of the year Kieran Hebden with another of his totally essential epic Four Tet reworks. The sleaze of the original is replaced by dreamy electronica, creating a version that hints at the Yellow Magic Orchestra and electro-Balearic gems. As Pasta Paul would say; this is Amazing!
